Capturing the Unseen Through a Unique Lens.
Fede Ramos (b. 1986, Mexico) is a visual artist and photographer whose work delves into the invisible, the ethereal, and the contemplative. He began his photographic journey in 2005, exploring various techniques from analog photography to nature and portraiture.
By 2014, Ramos specialized in author photography, inspired by his daily experiences captured and expressed as inner narratives. His independent exploration led him to experimental techniques like double exposure, long exposure, crystallographies, reflections, and light and shadow effects. This imaginative and curious approach allowed him to weave themes of lucid dreams, contemplative and meditative realities, and abstract forms.
Notably, Ramos's daltonism has become a distinctive asset, shaping his unique interpretation of color and contributing to the singular aesthetic of his predominantly monochromatic photography.
Ramos's artistic philosophy is deeply personal, viewing photography not just as a craft but as a "visual meditation in constant movement." He passionately explores the poetry and essence of life, believing it emerges from attention and receptivity.
